Germinator 500, Dry sterilize surgical instruments in seconds. NIH guidelines recommend sterilizing instruments for small animal surgery. Hot glass bead sterilizers are ideal for this application. Stays cool to the touch - the chassis stays cool, even at the end of a full day of operation. Air above unit is cool enough to insert an instrument into well without discomfort. Insert surgical instrument into well, sterilization of inserted parts by dry heat (250C) takes 2-5 seconds. Handles of instruments, outside heat, do not get hot. Metal in beads is heated only on the surface, not to the depth, so cooling is quick after removal. Within 30 seconds, surgical instruments are cool enough to use. Specifications: Warm up time: 20 minutes, Working temp: 250C (approximately 500F), Sterilization time: 2-5 seconds, Well size: 20cm deep x 5cm diameter. Beads eventually, after extensive use, wear to powder. Replace when it becomes difficult to push instruments in deep enough.

The TESXCSB703 is a safety interlock switch made by Schneider Electric. It has a zinc alloy body and 1 normally open and 2 normally closed contacts. This interlock switch is designed to fit 22mm diameter actuators. It has gold plated double wipe contacts rated for 10A at 250VAC. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C. This interlock switch provides position interlocking for moving guards on machinery. It features a rugged metal construction and ensures the power is switched off when a guard is opened.

The GERMINATOR 500 is a simple, inexpensive way to quickly decontaminate your micro-dissecting instruments between procedures. The unique stainless steel glass bead bath remains at a constant 500 degrees F, allowing you to insert the tips of your instruments whenever you wish to decontaminate them, usually taking only 15 seconds.
The operating temperature for the unit is 500°F 15° (233°C). No messy chemicals and no need for open flames in the lab.
The unit measures 6.75'' x 5.25'' x 5.25'' (H x W x D) and the Stainless Steel Well measures: 2.0'' diameter x 4.0'' deep(ID). The unit only weighs 4.5lbs.
